about us

Each of us brings more than 30 years experience in writing, directing, producing and editing to our work producing personal history videos.

Marcy I began my career as a broadcast journalist, and then went on to hold leadership positions in communication at United Technologies Corporation and at the University of Hartford. I am a member of the Association of Personal Historians and I run my own communication and public relations company, Cain Communication LLC.

Bob I am a communication and media professor at Manchester Community College and an adjunct professor at Central Connecticut State University where I teach film and video production. I have worked in commercial broadcasting and I am active as a documentary filmmaker.

We both love movies, although we don’t always like the same ones. Same goes for books, plays and other forms of artistic expression. However, we do agree that helping people share their stories is fun and immensely gratifying.
